The Forum is open to community members and services and will be held on Friday 25 October 2019 at Thyme on Argent (230 Argent St, Broken Hill) from 12.30pm to 4pm.

‘Mental Health Awareness Month’ occurs in October each year and is a good time for people to reflect on their mental wellbeing and the wellbeing of those around them,” said Chelsea Edwards, Consumer and Carer Engagement Coordinator, Mental Health Drug and Alcohol Services.

“It is also a time for services delivering mental health support to reflect on what they are providing, to ensure that we are meeting the needs of people in our communities.  By actively raising awareness about mental wellbeing, we hope to engage with more people and increase knowledge about the availability of services and support being offered throughout our district,” said Mrs Edwards.

Community members and services attending can ask the panel questions about mental health and wellbeing as well as Mental Health & Drug Alcohol services provided within the Far West.

Light food and refreshments will be provided and the event is free.
